Born in New Haven, Mazagi Coffee grew from a simple idea: coffee should carry care, presence, and intention. The vision was inspired by time spent in Egypt, where coffee is given and consumed with mazag — made with care, enjoyed with presence, and shared fully. Experiencing that spirit, I knew I had to bring it back home to share.
At Mazagi, that means attention to detail. Syrups are made from scratch, roasts are tested and
refined, and recipes are built with balance in mind. Nothing is rushed, nothing is random —every cup is crafted to reflect the energy we want to share.
Built to move, the Mazagi Mobile isn’t tied to one corner or one city. It can roll anywhere — campus, streets, or events — carrying the spirit of mazag wherever people gather.
Every cup has a life of its own, shaped by the person who drinks it, the moment they’re in, and the mood they bring to it.

Called
Mazagi
The name Mazagi, ma•za•gi /mah-ZAH-gee/ adj. comes from three meanings.
1. A state of being where mood, love, and presence shape everything — from how something is made to how it’s experienced.
2. Describes the soulful feeling behind a moment, a ritual, a habit — done or received with care, depth, and emotional rhythm.
3. Rooted in the Arabic word mazag (mood), mazagi is my mood — my way of doing, feeling, creating, and connecting. It’s not just what I serve; it’s how I exist.
